Perfect for three travelers -- it's a short walk to Barra beach and nice, secure building. The second bathroom was quite a nice touch. The view was awesome and Chad was very accommodating with our check-in / out times. Recommended.

We rented this apartment for a long weekend in March and it surpassed all expectations. The location is perfect which allows you to walk to Copacabana Palace for drinks by the pool or the Fasano for dinner. The apartment is in pristine condition with a terrace that has a view that is spectacular.

In the evening, this is the spot to be for a drink before heading out to dinner. Ricardo Gondra of Rio Upscale, who manages the property, was available to let us in at 5am the day we arrived and then was helpful throughout the weekend with suggestions for drinks, dinner, best spots on the beach and reservations all around. He also has a very efficient maid who comes in each day to cook breakfast and clean up. Dollar for dollar, this was the best deal out in Rio. Like living at a grand luxe suite in a five star hotel at a fifth of the price.

We needed an apartment for 6 people for a three-night stay in Rio, and Rio Upscale's apartment in Ipanema was the perfect fit for us. It was in a great part of Ipanema and only a block away from the middle of Ipanema beach. Aside from the great location, we couldn't have asked for a better

apartment. The apartment had a 24-hour doorman, always leaving us feeling very secure and taken care of. The apartment itself was clean, sleek and modern. The rooms were perfect for 6 people, and we had a lot of closet space for our luggage. The kitchen was modern with new appliances and a washer and dryer which was key since we were halfway through our trip in Brazil. The apartment was outfitted with all the comforts of home, and we only wish that we had been able to stay longer to enjoy the apartment and the neighborhood.

Chad was also great to work with. He always made himself available to answer any questions we had and was completely flexible with meeting us upon check-in and check-out. I would definitely stay in this apartment again and recommend this service for anyone looking to stay in Rio.

I've only just got back from brazil and all I can say is I had a amazing time! Everything was better than what I expected!

When looking online for places to stay it took us ages to find the "best accommodation for the best price".

As soon as we see the advertisement of the copa oceanfront penthouse offered by Rio Upscale, me and my fellow 5 friends knew that this is where we wanted to be!

I phoned up straight away and spoke to Ricardo, Ricardo was great, gave me a insight on what he had available to offer, we continued communicating through email and then whatsapp, being able to communicate using whatsapp made things so easy, it just seemed very simple and straight forward... To good to be true. So we went ahead and decided to go ahead with the booking, whilst waiting a month till we were actually in brazil I kept in touch with Ricardo, asking him various different questions that just popped into my head. Ricardo was really really helpful, arranged and told me everything that I needed to know.

On arrival, Ricardo was at the penthouse waiting for us to arrive, was there to greet us at the early hours of the morning, gave us a tour around the penthouse and also told us about things to do and be careful about. We wanted to do some food and drink shopping, he kindly took us down to the local market and showed us around places to eat and buy from. He even showed a couple of my gym freak friends top locations for gyms to train at. On our first night out, I asked if he could accompany us out, so he took us out to a restaurant and then went to the best club on a Monday night. The following day, I kept in touch with him through whatsapp asked if he could come round and give us a talk about what clubs to go on specific nights, many thanks to him he helped us arrange everything.

Furthermore, everything else like sightseeing and renting a yatch was all organised by himself... The service offered by Rio Upscale was amazing. We asked if he could show us around a few of the other apartments as we definitely will return next year. All 6 of me and my friends from London had the time of a lifetime, I would recommend everyone looking to have a nice time away to use the Servives offered by Rio Upscale.
